Who really rules the world?

Many people would answer the above question with a single word—God. But significantly, nowhere does the Bible say that either Jesus Christ or his Father are the real rulers of this world. On the contrary, Jesus said: “The ruler of this world will be cast out.” And he added: “The ruler of the world is coming. And he has no hold on me.”—John 12:31; 14:30; 16:11.

So the ruler of this world is in opposition to Jesus. Who could this be?

There is no need to guess at the matter, for the Bible clearly shows that an intelligent, unseen person has been controlling both men and nations. It says: “The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.” And the Bible identifies him, saying: “The one called Devil and Satan . . . is misleading the entire inhabited earth.”—1 John 5:19; Revelation 12:9.

So, then, Satan the Devil really is the unseen ruler of the world! The Bible, in fact, calls him “the god of this system of things.” (2 Corinthians 4:4) Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless handheld

basic principles

No woman wakes up saying, “God, I hope I don’t get swept off my feet today!” Now, she might say, “This is a really bad time for me,” or something like, “I just need some space,” or my personal favorite, “I’m really into my career right now.” You believe that? Neither does she. You know why? Because she’s lying to you, that’s why. You understand me? Lying! It’s not a bad time for her. She doesn’t need any space. And she may be into her career, but what she’s really saying is, “Uh, get away from me now,” or possibly, “Try harder, stupid.” But which one is it? Sixty percent of all human communication is nonverbal, body language; thirty percent is your tone. So that means that ninety percent of what you’re saying ain’t coming out of your mouth. Of course she’s going to lie to you! She’s a nice person. She doesn’t want to hurt your feelings. What else she going to say? She doesn’t even know you… yet. Luckily, the fact is that just like the rest of us, even a beautiful woman doesn’t know what she wants until she sees it, and that’s where I come in. My job is to open her eyes. Basic principles: no matter what, no matter when, no matter who… any man has a chance to sweep any woman off her feet. He just needs the right broom.

Thanks Hitch sa advice.

i dont wanna wait in vain

Being able to wait is a sign of true love and patience.

Anyone can say i love you, but not everyone can wait and prove its true.

marian

My mind can’t stop thinking of you
And I don’t know on what to do
Ready for the chance that is given
I’m again like an ice – cold and frozen
After the night we had met
Never thought this feeling would come

Help me Lord, why should she go
Unless you would give me a clue
Either we make it or break it
Vying for something that’s uncertain
On this future that we can’t see
So I’ll just bid you ” I love you and goodbye”.

5th Year Anniversary

October 2011 is coming and this would be a very significant month of years of blogging experience. Next month I would be celebrating the 5th year anniversary of my blog.

How did HOMEWARD BOUND came to be? We’ll computer is not really my expertise (I’m a BSME in college) but when I entered college in the city no none would probably unfamiliar with the words like Internet, Online gaming and friendster. Unlike with those people with to writing and sharing my thought across the world wide web- making webpages (along with html and java self study). My first webpage was with the Angelfire Lycos. When I found out about blogger I transferred bearing a blogspot URL. Blogger was pretty cool because you are allowed to use java and other feature that adds up functionality and color to the site. October 2011 I decided to transfer to WordPress and got my http://laundrybag.wordpress.com url.

Why laundrybag? When I was still a student in the academy I have read about blogs having the word “bukayo”, barracks, camouflage and so on. And I thought I should create an idea about keeping those things that matter to you- a LAUNDRY BAG. During that time the laundry bag along with the laundry basket is a place to keep things secretly so as not for them to find out- things like foods, chocolates, magazines and many more.

The birth of debit card pave way for me to able to acquire my own domain name two years ago. The domain name “haroldbigtas.com” was retitled with HOMEWARD BOUND meaning a journey going home. You can read my about page “qou vadis?” To know more about me.

I wish to continue blogging for the coming years. Blogging is simply telling the world of your idea because its what Big Minds talk about.

Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others,
even to the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter,
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble,
it’s a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself.
Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment,
it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive him to be.
And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life,keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

my high school life

Seven years. Its been a while since I first graduated in high school. I was happy to still find a picture of my high school life (when digicams we’re not yet common) hoping that I would find some more to my fellow classmates.

The picture was taken inside our computer laboratory. During that time we had only about 3 colored monitor pc and the rest black and white(No dual core yet,no usb,no netbooks) . We would run as we could so that we could get the new one when the comlab opens. I was very ignorant about those “techy” things during that time. But I manage to learn them as time goes by.

I don’t have a laptop but a netbook. I don’t have a cellphone but a blackberry. I don’t have a job but a profession. There is one thing I still don’t have: a girlfriend.

life is about trusting your feeling and taking chances, losing and finding happiness,
appreciating the memories, learning from the past, and realizing people change ..

give thanks

Let us be thankful for those who didnt like us — they made us better persons;

those who loved us — they made our hearts glow;

those who envied us –they made our self-esteem grow stronger;

those who cared –they made us feel important;

those who came into our lives — they made us who we are today;
those who left –they showed us that nothing lasts forever;

and those who stayed –they showed us the true meaning of friendship.

irony

First of all of I would like to thank God Yah for keeping me safe from harm and providing my needs both physical and mental, giving me the strength to defeat those claiming that there is no God( according to the song they are singing). Maybe that is the strategy of Lucifer to use this ideologies to win victory over good.

We’ll during my stay in a far flung barangay here in mindanao a certain group of people claiming to be followers of God(daw) came to conduct consultation to natives of the place. I know what they are really up to that is to find fault on whether we are doing good or not. Praise God we are on the right track. We only protect the people as God have said. Matthew 5:9
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

As children of God. We have the authority to serve the people.

First and foremost why would you kill someone? To inflict harm? For self defense? Or just to accomplish the mission Lucifer to inflict death

why?
Romans 1:29
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
